rebuilding a VG30 $$

Seems after all i know someone who is willing to give me a VG30.. although it needs rebuild...

Anyone know how much it would cost to rebuild one of these? if its around $450.. im all ears... somehow i doubt it though.

If the turbo is not ballbearing it should be about that price. Go see dynamic turbos they seem to be better priced than ATS.

I had a mate put a bigger compressor wheel, and fully rebuild my t04 and it cost just under 700, so just a rebuild should be about 4-500.

Non Ballbearing units are about $500 to rebuild

Ballbearing rebuilds, this is a new thing and ive heard $1000 $2000 just for new core yes they are much better than non BB cores JimiH

I picked up TWO VG30's from a blokes place last night that he gave me for nothing.. (bargin)

I'll take them down to DYNAMIC TURBOS today and get them to give me a quote (they are closer to my work)

If i give them both perhaps they can build one good one out of them... hopefully at a slightly cheaper price.. worth a shot i think..

They said about $600 for a rebuild (without seeing it) obvioulsy it varies depending on the condition of the thing.
