Hey everyone,

I'm in the market for new rocker cover gaskets and I was wondering if anyone would recommend the GRP Engineering gasket set from Goleby's Parts https://www.golebysparts.com.au/products/rb20-rb25-rb26-tappet-cover-gasket-set-not-neo-rb25-arc3025k?_pos=37&_sid=4815c86be&_ss=r

Or recommend am better alternative from your experience?

Referring from the receipts of parts the past owner used in building the engine, the current gasket seem to be a generic eBay special that is in unknown condition, but based off the rubber washers that have mostly disintegrated due to either the elements or the battery that got ruptured in the crash. I'm afraid of inspecting them without having replacements on hand incase they refuse to properly seal the rocker covers afterwards.

Thanks.

I agree, genuine gaskets and rocker cover washers, new half moon seals (with very light silicone bead), bolts tightened correctly will give you years of leak free covers.

I don't know the GRP ones at all, they might be fine

BTW the rover cover bolts are 2-4NM per the service manual. It is worth re-torqueing them after the first drive
