Howdy guys good to meet some fellow skyline nuts!

Hope all goes fine with the 34, damn nice car!

I ended up winning the co drivers by 30 points after a timing mistake on sunday was corrected last night! I think I won 6 outright quickest times also, got to be happy with that!

Great event and I'd encourage anyone who is a little keen on motorsport and drinking to give it a go!

Well done guys, looks like you had a great weekend and were very competitive. You gotta hate mechanical dramas, remember to fill us in once you know exactly what caused the problem.

I note that Golgos times weren't counted but how did it go against the competition?

Jamezilla gets my vote for champion of 2004, im not too proud to admit i would have at least wound back the rev limit to 8,900rpm :D

Shame i couldnt make it to spectate, i was bashing around Horsham, Ballarat and whole bunch of places i cant spell in the mud and cold.

Good to see the R34/33 proudly flying the Nissan performance flag :D

Now that you have doen Dutton you know you want a re-match against SR/Escort in Rally of Tas :D

Will the car be ready for PI the week after next?

Great effort guys, pity about the clutch, saw it at Ice about an hour ago, looks like its been 'chewed up and spat out'....

oh well, think you better go for a twin plate this time.....

I'll be interested in entering next year.......

I would have thought Golgo had enough stickers as it is to enter any racing event without need for supplementation :Oops:

I love the G's you pulled in a car with stock suspension too, it goes to show how amazing a good set of tyres are :(

Simmo - great stuff mate. I think I saw just about every one of your 26 runs and you didnt put a foot wrong all weekend. So well done mate. That car you were driving sure was one tidy package - I hope for your sakes its not the last time you get to sit behind the wheel of it.

Good luck with the quest for the Oz cars too. If you are down in Melbourne be sure to drop us a line and we'll catch up for a beer.

      That would be interested if it's the case as seems like it would make the job a lot messier but subaru sells OEM gaskets so seems it might of had it.

      Fuel tank is out. Looks pretty bloody good under (ie above) the fuel tank.  Amazing how good the factory e-coat holds up in the hidden areas.  No where near as much body deadener to get rid of as the front but still not looking forward to it!  Shit of a job.  I'm thinking I might grab a needle scaler and give that a go before I attack it with the angle grinder and wire wheel which is how I did the front 2/3's of the car.  Feels good to be working on the car again but who knows how long it will last!  Hopefully I can get it further forward than where it was prior to this last block of work when I decided to go back 10 steps further down the rabbit hole from where i already was! The problem is, I'm realising how hard it will be to repair and paint the bumpers, which cannot be put back on the car, and have a good paint match. There are also areas where it would be VERY hard to hide the new paint where it transitions from old paint. Like this- There is only one way to do that perfectly and I really dont want to have to do what that means I would have to do... 🤦‍♂️

      Pretty sure the factory assembly doesn't have any gasket at all, just RTV.

      Thought I’d post pics of the packages for those interested. The premium package is #16. Remote start, security with tilt sensor and remote and backup battery, auto fold mirrors and door illumination.    Can post up pics of all the factory options and images from the factory options brochure if people are interested. I have all the dealer books etc for all rv37 models.
