HK31
Hi there Does anyone know of someone in Australia who could reproduce this R31 Autech front grille insert? Could create an STL file from photos first, but has anyone had experience with 3D metals. Cheers Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/484366-autech-grille-insert-reproduction/ Share on other sites
GTSBoy
There are plenty of places doing commercial (industrial) 3D metal printing in Oz, but I would hesitate to think that any of them would be viable for one offs or even small runs. That is unless you know (or can come to know) someone who works at one of them who would be willing to do it as a favour in spare time. If you can get a very decent 3D model up and working you would be able to get a one off done out of China, in just about any printable material you can imagine. Want it to be stainless or inconel? Yup, can be done. Something more Al based? Probably no trouble. niZmO_Man
If you make it multiple parts, can perhaps get Jaycar to 3D print for you. Or maybe Boosted Int. can help you out? He's done a heap of Nissan stuff. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/484366-autech-grille-insert-reproduction/#findComment-7974721 Share on other sites

They'd have it done overnight though 馃槉 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/484366-autech-grille-insert-reproduction/#findComment-7974723 Share on other sites
