Hey everybody,

Im looking to design and 3D print an RB25 Coilpack Cover. However when I when I purchased my engine years ago the previous owner had bought a custom cover with his personalized lazer cut text for it which he wanted to keep as a memento, and I didn't mind because I planned to eventually go with 26 covers which I now own but haven't installed since the engine will be in & out several times for fab. But now I'd like to have one just to keep out any contaminants, but I'd prefer to design and print my own instead because it will never be used in the running car, and it's a good excuse just to make something. Which is why I wanted to ask if anyone could please provide me with the covers measurements? I would need the Length, Width and Depth, the diameter of the holes, and the distance between each of the holes. Once I finish designing and printing the model I'll make the files available and free to anyone who may want them. Thanks.

I would have thought it's too hot there for almost all 3D printing plastics.

That's definitely true but for my purpose temperature wouldn't be an issue as I only intend to use the coil cover to prevent anything from getting into the spark plug valley/wells while the car sits or is trailered. But for anyone else's use case it would be handy as simple template to trace around and cut out of whichever material, or the 3D model it's self can serve as a base to work from to modify the design as seen fit and machine or either cast using by the printed part as sand mold.
