nissan factory paint primer color used on EV1 lighting yellow

does any one know what color primer Nissan used under their EV1 lighting yellow paint?

does anyone know why under the hood and other various locations the color is so pale?

I can't answer the first question, although I assume paint shops can get hold of that formula.

I can confirm that it was standard for Nissan during that period to use a different/duller colour on the non exterior panels
