R34 gtt Shifter position

Hi guys 

Is it possible to turn the shifter around (photo below) so it sits further forward, gearbox isn't in a r34 it's in a r32 racecar.

No. And.....there's no need? It fit through the hole in my R32 floor, although it did start out as an auto. The R32 manual box shifter lined up with the hole perfectly though, so.... shouldn't be an issue.

The big box shifter does push the inner boot all the way to one edge of the hole, but it all does fit.

Get another shifter that looks like its been modded for an s chassis conversion
