'96 R33 GTST Skyline Alternator

I need a new alternator. From my research, the r33 GTST had either a 80A or a 90A depending on the series. I have no idea which one my car has, can I generally be safe with a 90A alternator replacement without any concerns? So long as it's still a 12V.

Yep, 90A is just the maximum it can put out, going slightly higher output than standard won't cause problems

Especially given that you can throw (and plenty of people do) a 140A alternator at them and nothing bad happens.

90A are GT-R ones, R33 GTS-t  or GTS had 80A ones.

Just slap a LS alternator on, done.

Is there any bracket or fitting difference between the GTST and GTR? Or will an alternator advertised for an r33 fit my GTST regardless?

I'd presume it's the same fitting for all as it's meant to be a direct fit and it supports pretty much all the models. Don't quote me on it though
