Hello lads, I am finally tired of being airfried in my r34 and am looking to fix the ac, 34 condensers seem to be extremely hard to source especially domestically in Australia.

has anyone had any experience sourcing one that isn’t 2000 dollars shipped from Japan and or know whether it is interchangeable with any other series condenser?

Appreciate any input, cheers.

This may sound overly dumb, but ask this question to your local aircon place that deals with things like aftermarket aircon or hotrods etc. When I asked this question they seemed to have a ton of knowledge and/or knew many generic condensers that they could make bracketry to make the space. I think the one they sourced for my LS conversion was like $180 or some very small part of the rather expensive endeavour.

As above

Plus, a air conditioner specialist can make whatever they have that fits in "your space" by welding and modifying the fitting connection and mounting points

There isn't anything really special about a condenser, it just like any other aftermarket heatsink/radiator/intercooler

You can possibly even "upgrade" it over the old OEM one that they want "drug money" for

Upgrading OEM condensers to better, larger and more efficient ones are a common modification for "idiots like me" that run a WTA intercooler with a interchiller that uses the air conditioning system to cool the WTA coolant
