Ik ik… I have googled and tried different remote tuners to look at the maps to see if they can spot an issue because I cannot find a physical issue, even Haltech looked at them, AFR’s are good everything is acting as it should supposedly. I’ve spent over a year trying to dissect this problem and countless nights. This car WILL NOT rev over 4.5krpm. I just want to finally drive my car. Everything that could be replaced, has been replaced atleast twice. Coils are new and been swapped twice, the CAS is brand new, injectors are new and fuel system is full AN with no leaks and steady pressure. Fuel pump is ran on its own relayed circuit, steady voltage. I have tried 2 separate new map sensors. All protective measures have been turned off in the ecu as well so there is no limiters to hit… Ect ect. You name it, it’s probably been gone over.    What Am I Missing!!

-Haltech platinum pnp, onboard map or Haltech 3 bar(have both), full 3in exhaust, pulsar gtx3076r, 1000cc id injectors, aeromotive afpr, fmic, ffi manifold, 44mm watergate, Haltech boost solenoid….All the standard stuff…

pretty average setup. Please help

Valet mode? Do you have a aftermarket alarm

Does your ECU have valet mode?

I know some cars and alarms have them and you need to do some switch toggling to activate and deactivate

If you do have an alarm google the brand and look for how to activate and deactivate it

Or, as stated above, Cursed by a wandering gypsie, built on a pet cemetary, etc.

@GTSBoy All the above you mentioned have been checked. Me and a couple others went through the timing a few times and no issues with mechanical or ignition timing, the exhaust is straight through, no cat. Ive set and checked timing of the CAS a handful of times ik the cas can’t be out or the car wouldn’t run at all. The car runs perfecctttt, except right in that 4500rpm zone

@morboost speedo is no longer in the car, I’m running a powertune digital dash, and all anti lag and other features are all off.

@The Bogan I believe the Haltech platinum pro does not have valet. I mean you could technically run a switch to switch between tunes but none of that has been done. Also no alarm is in the car at the moment.

    • Exhaust end of this month, and then tune after that whenever there is availability. Still tossing up between a pure 98 tune or a flex 98/e85 combo.  The (lack of) milage in e85 isnt great. Start to get anxiety if i go for a long drive and there arent any united servo's nearby
    • I mean I can be OCD'y but this is really over the top. At that point why not just run a full wideband fuel controller? Especially if you run 3 widebands. The system works pretty well, which is trimming low load stuff to be within a few percent of the base map. Pre-engine _change_ the base map was only 1-2% off, depending on ambient temp, elevation, etc. Under load the LS is really very straightforward to tune, enough that a wideband closed loop would be overkill. If I really cared (and I hope I don't) I can always just go back to the MAF system the car actually came with. Which does all those nice calculations for me (temp, altitude, etc), now that you can buy 102mm MAF's that do not cause restrictions.
    • Good afternoon Team , just a quick update on performance mods  Current Mods list (Installed) HKS - Power Editor (Came with the car) looks to be some kind of boost controller RV37 Skyline 400R (SKYLINE) | FUJITSUBO  - Cat Back  RV37 Skyline 400R (SKYLINE) | FUJITSUBO  - Front Pipe AMS  - INFINITI Q50/Q60 RED ALPHA COLD AIR INTAKE KIT AMS  - Performance Heat Exchanger Intercooler Not Yet AMS Alpha Performance Full Race Down Pipes  - to be installed in May
    • I'd be installing 2x widebands and using the NB simulation outputs to the ECU.
    • Nah, it's different across different engines and as the years went on. R32 era RB20, and hence also RB26, the TPS SWITCH is the idle command. The variable resistor is only for the TCU, as you say. On R33 era RB25 and onwards (but probably not RB26, as they still used the same basic ECU from the R32 era), the idle command is a voltage output of close to 0.45V from the variable resistor.
