To talk long. Heater Hoses look absolutely fine and I haven't seen a single crack from underneath or up-top when I looked at them or shook them around. The leak only happens when the car gets up to temp I.E. when coolant starts flowing and goes through the Thermostat and intake tubing (I know it's always flowing) and I am stationary. If I am moving, the leak doesn't happen at all, when the car is turned off, the leak also stops and doesn't continue at all.

There is no bubbling or burping or overheating or power loss or idle issues or boost loss. Could the leak be coming from the Coolant Port that runs through the Intake Manifold and a bad gasket seal? It is an OEM Gasket that...unfortunately...I have reused quite a few times. I have a new one coming this week, but I'll also be switching out the Heater hoses for a second set I have from a spare block and custom made ones to cover my tracks.

Head was recently off for a new head gasket, head and block were and are flat and surfaced, Tomei 1.2mm Head Gasket, ARP Head Studs torqued in three sequences to 80 ft/ibs per the instructions and then retorqued again after 500 miles, so recently in the last few weeks. No coolant in the Oil or any oil/coolant contamination at all.

I just dont wanna seem dumb and think it's something else than it really is and I just wanna see if anyone else has dealt with this before.

TL;DR Coolant Leak below the Intake Manifold that runs down the side of the block from looks like Coolant Port 1 and 2, Greddy Manifold. Block is an RB25. Only does it when Running and Stationary. Stops when driving and car is turned off.

Would you consider using a dye and UV light to trace the leak?

Truthfully, that didn't cross my mind. I can possibly go by the shop this week and do a quick UV Dye test and Pressure Test. It just started last night and I'm currently at work for 48 hours, so I figured I'd ask since I had time and see if anyone else has had this before.

I do have a new Intake Manifold Gasket coming, so when that comes, I can do a UV Dye thing first and if it is what I believe it is, I'll replace it then and there.

Quick update, I am the idiot, I did replace all my manifold gaskets, resealed the thermostat and water piping that goes under the Intake Manifold and it was slightly warped, so surfaced that a bit at home then threw it back on.

While doing that, I rechecked all heater hoses and I saw nothing, but after putting it back together, come to find out, the 75degree turned one from the Thermostat Nipple or whatever it’s called to the Heater Core return line had a super super slight tear in it that you wouldn’t even notice.

Luckily, I replace everything with turn hose clamps while it was already off, so I got it off with the intake on and cut the end off an old Heater Core Line that makes about a 70/75 turn and used that since it was apart of the return pipe section and same diameter. Leak done and fixed.

    • They see me rollin' they hatin'....... Took me most of the day to make the necessary mods to the mounts to make them fit the car.  Fortunately I was able to just use the mounts that came with the rotisserie. The rear ones are really secure, the front I feel i might reinforce a bit more as it doesn't seem like enough attachment to the vehicle. I'm sure it's fine but better to be safe than (extremely...) sorry.  I drilled and tapped thread into additional M12 holes to each car mount where it attaches to the rotisserie as an extra fail-safe. Without them the side to side movement is just restricted by the allen head pinch bolts, nothing actually goes though the beam. Does now! I still need to adjust the rotisserie to get the car centred in terms of centre of gravity. If it's too high or too low relative to the rotational centre line of the car, it will be like a turtle and roll onto its back or as it currently sits, I dont think I'd be able to rotate it as it sits as it needs to lift the whole car up as it rotates. Ain't happening... I'm going to be nervous as hell the first time I go to spin it on its side...
    • Oh yes done this when the window started flopping around.  Turns out the guides that run along the rail chanel had crumbed way. Took off the door card and pulled out the window mech, then the window, which you have to pull out through the top. As said unbolt the guide rail and don't spend 30 minutes getting frustrated trying to find a way to slide it out upwards cause that don't frigging work. Drop it down and out through the door hole. All I did to repair it was slice some 10mm clear plastic tube, vertically, then screw it to the guide rail both sides. This tubing rolls inward on both sides and leaves a gap wide enough to hold the window. To finish all I did was lube the plastic tube with olive oil and Bob's your uncle . . . well if he has the operation he can be your Aunt ! !  10 bucks in plastic tube and another 5 minute job done again . . . . YEH BULLSH#T ! My love for Skylines knows no bounds !
    • So was there a solution to this problem? I’m having this issue now.
    • not expensive, just irreplaceable if you don't go sub 60 at wakie in that thing people will start talking
    • I haven't replaced that, but I have had the doors apart on the r32 a couple of times The door skin will be held on by a combination of clips and bolts, just take it slowly and make sure all the sneaky hidden bolts are out Once the skin is off you should be able to pop that piece off pretty easily, looks like there are only 2 bolts holding it on
