Hey All,

I'm a newbie from the UK and having owned several skylines 'back in the day' I'm surprised I never signed up on here back then!

Long story short, in an poor attempt to re-live my youth I've got my hands on an R33 GTST Auto and as luck would have it I've got an RB25DE box that I've had laying around for a few years. (I know these boxes don't like clutch kicks or hard launches, etc but hey this cost me next to nothing)

I'm having trouble locating the front part (think you guys refer to them as tail shafts? ) of an R33 NA prop here in the UK, however, I've got given a free S14/SR manual tail shaft which although is too short to connect to the rest of the R33 prop, it does however have the correct yoke to slide into the NA box perfectly

With the above in mind, I was looking to have the front of the auto tail shaft chopped off and the S14/SR one welded on and balanced, however, I was wondering if anyone knew the exact length the NA tail shaft needs to be?

Cheers in advance!

TBH it would be a miracle if someone had that exact information....

Lengthening or shortening a tailshaft depending on gearbox/diff/chassis etc is pretty common, you really just need to fit it up once the box is in place and measure it
