R34 GT+t stock Auto transmission?

Hi I have recently purchased an R34 GT+ t Sedan. Apparently it has some sort of transmission issue. Can Standard NA autos work when the engine is now turbocharged? Not big power or anything.

Extra torque will wear it out. The clutches won't be to the same spec as those on the turbo box, and the shift speeds possibly won't suit handling more torque either.

Autos in R34s are a nightmare. 8HP conversion is the only sensible option.

Mate runs his na+T auto no issues. Has a shift kit and torque converter from I think mv automatics.

Good service, trans cooler and not too much power (235kw) thing is reliable

I had a NA box with a shift kit from MV Automatics. It obliterated itself in very quick order.

Everyone goes manual for a reason. It is easier to just learn manual and have a more fun car than pretty much any other alternative regarding an Auto skyline.

The other option is as GTSBoy said, is to absolutely swing for the fences and go a 8HP conversion, but by 'swing for the fences' I mean $15,000+, which isn't often in the cards for somebody who recently bought the vehicle.
