R32 GT-R ADM Dash Dimmer Module - Where and What

I've owned an original ADM R32 GT-R for quite a while - since new, in fact.

I've recently been cleaning up some minor electrical niggles.  (Good to have power windows working again!).  One minor problem I still have is that the instrument light dimming doesn't work.  The dimming switch at upper right of dash (a Nissan-fitted, ADM only feature, apparently) only goes from full to off.  I do recall the magic smoke being released - literally - quite a few years ago.

I already have the dash partly apart, but I don't really know where the "Remote Control Module - Dimmer" (as per the AUS section of the workshop manual) is located or what it looks like.  I see two orange wires from the switch disappearing into the loom, but haven't been able to find the other ends.

Is anyone able to provide more details?
