Synthetic oil versus conventional oil

bloody hell, learnt my lesson. Always check all fasteners before starting a job.

How did you drain the oil if you couldn't get the sump plug out?

 

But that sort of thing is why when doing diffs and gearboxes, I always check I can get the full plug out before pulling the drain plug.

My bad. I wrote it incorrectly.

I meant to say "after dumping a bottle of oil flush into the engine"
