Im a big big big fan of the Power FC as you just plug it in, dont have to stuff about rewiring sensors etc. You can pick up an AP Engineering (as Apexi didnt make them for the RB20DET themselves, however AP Engineering is 'Apexi Engineering') Power FC from greenline and nengun for around $1200 delivered. You can also pay $100 extra or so for the "Pro" version which has launch control and an ignition cut for things like rev limiters, as opposed to the normal versions fuel cut.

Then theres a few people who can tune them, Jakes Performance in Mitchell, Hills Motorsport and Croydon Racing Developments in Sydney. All are around the $600 - $800 mark for a full tune.

Apexi Power FC is my choice of weapon.

DEFINATELY check out www.nengun.com - V. good value for money!

Ed at Integra Automotive on Lanyon Drive in Queanbeyan is the man I trust most to get my P. FC right-I'm tuning it late next week-should be good!!

Ooh any chance we can meet up next weekend after hes tuned yours Jayce? Mine goes in on Monday 23rd to get some more stuff done and Ed's going to tune it this time instead of Pete, so would be interested to see how he does :)

No prob's!I've already done a "before" dyno run,so it will be interesting to see what transpires...

I would definately go for a Power FC Pro if I were ever to use one because of the rev limiter..... I don't particularly feel comfortable that my engine is sucking in plenty of air but no fuel at peak RPM eek3.gif

however personally I'd use a Haltech (only because the ONLY person IN AUSTRALIA I would trust to tune my car properly specialises in Haltech's) or a ROM Tune on the stock ECU

Hey Tosh,

I also am using the Haltech E6K. Who do you use for all your tuning??

I agree the Haltech is one of the best computers available for the money. It is very tuneable just does not like Nissan Coils. I blew three coils so I had to go to the old Coil Pack and Lead setup. Now working sweet, pulling over 200 rwkw on stock turbo - Tuning is also a little richer. Better to be safe then sorry

Ah bugger-looks like it'll be Monday 30th for me-Ed's too flat out doing your car!!Still,he's already getting results on the J Racing S15...I have faith that it'll only get better with two more cylinders and an extra turbo!

nik if you get a new oil pump make sure you check if they actually did put the collet for the extended drive in like they said!!! And make sure you do this time if they didnt and dont get a r32 pump at all costs!!!

hey dan, well ive got the receipts for the oil pump collar (jun) and can only go by the builders word it was actually put on, but my oil pump seems to be having trouble holding oil pressure (old) so was looking at going the jun pump and collar... by the way, who are these FMS dudes youve got alot of stuff off for your car?
