Hi there,

Anyone got any Stock Suspension laying about?

Recently purchased 370gt landed in melb this week from Sydney.

Going in for Roadworthy next week as part of the vic registration process.

Vehicle has Coilovers

tester believes it shouldn’t be a problem as long as they tick a few boxes - minimum clearance etc.

im still nervous it may fail, which leads me to my question.

anyone got stock 370gt suspension they want to part with for a fair price???

many thanks

If the car is legal height I can't see it being an issue.

Found a thread on reddit that might offer some insight.

I got a ticket from a copper in QLD for my S15 being too low. They had this wheel thing on a stick that they put under the car and it hit my exhaust. Anyhow went to an exhaust shop to get the exhaust tucked up/hung a little higher and I wound the coilovers up a smidge. Don't think I even had to go back to the police station unlike when I got defected for having a carbon bonnet when I brought the S15 from the ACT to QLD and had to replace it and then rock up at a police station and have a yougish female officer who knew nothing about cars confirm that I had changed bonnets. Should have just painted the carbon bonnet yellow to match the rest of the car lol

Yeah, even here in SA they used to not allow coilovers if they could be adjusted (down) after they'd been inspected and "passed" at Regency, because....you could just drive away and lower it. But now they take the view that they may as well just pass them, and if you lower it below the limit then it's on you when you get defected and they will make your life harder on the subsequent clearance inspection.
