little help pricing an item

Ive got a R32 GTR fiberglass bonnet. It came with my GTS-T and im interested in selling it. Im just wondering if you guys could give me a rough estimate on how much i could sell it for. It looks brand new and is already painted gun metal grey.

yeah.. probably $800 to a GTR or GTS-T owner who's car is that colour.. probably less to somebody who's car isn't.. Depends on the condition and style of it really in the end as to how much.

People will try and stooge you saying "I can get it for $xxx brand new, I'll only give you $500" but usually they're full of crap and just doing it to annoy you, or the off chance that you were so desperate you'd take the offer. They'll never buy it anyhow.

I thought GTR's had an aluminium bonnet. Is this a GTR bonnet or a GTR copy made to fit a GTST

The cheapest i have seen fiberglass wih carbon layer ontop is $800.

For a 100% dry carbon bonnet that you can lift off with 1 hand you are looking at around $5000
