GTRgeoff
Yoshi, I did have a little heavy steering at low speed but some extra caster was added and I haven't noticed it for months. There are no lines on a 33, just electrics but otherwise it's as you said. mitchc
Hi, new to the forum:D I've got an R32 GTST which is used mainly for drifting. I have a lock bar with two spacers, two dome nuts and four copper washers. Where exactly does the fluid system get capped? I gather the rack is swapped for the bar and rear lines are removed, but there are quite a few pipes and junctions at the front and that's the bit I'm stuck with. What else can I remove? It's not going to go back on, so reversability isn't an issue. Many thanks in advance for any tips, and pics would be really helpful. mitchc
Okay, removed the rear (Hicas) output from the power steering pump and return to the reservoir. It is now lashing fluid all over the place, even after a short run. Will this be alleviated by removing the internals from the rear of the pump, or will an S13 CA18DET power steering pump with the one outlet fit directly in its place? I'm not sure if it's leaking due to excess pressure caused by removing the rear line and plugging the outlet, but it's a bit of a coincedence if it is.
