turning t3 turbo housings???

i need to turn the exhaust and A/r housing on my skyline R33 t3 turbo. to fit my application.

turning the A/r side looks like it wouldnt matter, but im not to sure about the exhaust side.

by turning the exhuast housing i hope to accieve a vertical oil drain.

any help much appreciated.

Both can be turned easily enough. Both of mine had to be rotated to suit the rb20 exhaust manifold as the previous owner was running the turbo on an sr20 with custom manifold.

It just means that there's a possibility the actuator wont mount up properly if you rotate the compressor housing in relation to the exhaust housing.
