not necessarily. I found a light up EL panel at a local wrecker on a halfcut that came in, I asked em if I could pull it off, and they said "no worries, $20 and its yours". So now I've got 2 :D

I've also found stuff like the gold GT badges at wreckers in japan, but they're sorta random finds, and you gotta go there to get em, which might be a problem.

Japanese Yahoo Auctions dude, I've seen heaps of these genuine factory options on there including the drink holders, sunroof visor, windows visors, aero parts, ski racks, gold badges and more.

I have a genuine Nismo parts catalogue for the R32 models that I might post up if anyone is interested?

Post it up bud...

Is it hard buying gear and getting it shipped from the J-Land yahoo auctions? I've never really looked at it.

Cheers

Justin.

I would be inclined to stay away from Import Monster. I haven't dealt with them but they will charge you hefty amounts for commission and apparently are slow to get things sent off.

Jesse Streeter is an Australian living in Japan who exports parts around the world. I have bought MANY parts from him and never had a bad word to say. His communication is always prompt, he charges minimal commission and is generally a great help for imports of any kind.

anyone in adelaide have the glowing rear skyline writing? i'd love to see some pictures of it...

i saw a 32 GTS-T in blackwood just near hungry jacks. the writing said skyline and looked different to normal! thought it might be the green glowing stuff but i waited for anyone to come to the car. just wanted to see when they turned their lights on! waited 5 minutes or so and no one came.

didn't want to scare anyone!

pics would be awesome!

Seems like my skyline has quite a few options on it! I have the following:

Gold GT badges and emblems (93 model)

Type A sedan spoiler with LED stop light

Middle console cup holders

Rear wiper

Body side and door guards

Mud guards

Sunroof

Automatic mirror closing

Air purifier! It still works :D

    • KYBs are typically twin tube, putting them in the lower tier of desireability. Do you just want to replace worn out ones for the lowest cost? I mean, you wouldn't just replace one end of a car, if the rears are a similar age to the fronts, then they are probably nowhere near what they should be, and likely won't be great against brand new fronts. So, to spend ~$800 on 2nd tier dampers, when you could get a decent set of MCA coilovers for <$4k.....? As to the strut tops. 1st up, the Sparesbox site specifically tells you that they are not correct for an R33. Beyond that, why do you think you need them?
    • That's not very Toyota of the Toyota!
    • Bringing an old thread back to life Looking to put some new front shocks in the r33Gtst and the KYB still look ok for a road car. Unless there are any other options aroind that price $200 a shock?  I’d like to replace the strut tops also, is this the correct KYB no. For the strut top, KSM7124?  https://www.sparesbox.com.au/products/kyb-strut-top-mount-ksm7124?srsltid=AfmBOoq-HDru8wSlLnQrhU9gCw_uYdKg8gUQzONY-EQOdnI5iXOWEUjY 341287 appears to be the front KYB shocks part no.  thanks all
    • LandCruiser used to get a fluid flush every 12 to 18 months.   Only because it was about that often the electric motor on the master for brake assist kept dieing and needing to come off.
