17 X 8 all round or 17 X 8 fronts and 17 X 9 rear and what offsets?

I am planing to get some Buddy Club P1 Racing wheels for my R33 GTS-t but are unsure if I should get 17 X 8 all round or if I should go for 17 X 9 on the rear.

What are the advantages / disadvantages of going for the 17 X 9 on the rear?

Will it unbalance car and make it more likely to understeer?

Also what offset should I get the 17 X 8 are available in 12,22,32,42 offset and the 17 X 9 in 17, 27, 37, 47.

i think these offests should work:

17x8 = 31

17x9 = 38
