Ok I am going to replace my stock RB25 MAF with a Q45 I have sitting in my tool box. I got the wiring figured out. What I want to know is if I am going to have to retune the Maps for the larger MAF or will the Power FC be able to use the same maps with the MAF voltage adjusted to the Q45's values.

Right now the car runs great but the Check engine light flashes and the MAF voltage goes well over 5V's.

Also the Q45 MAF is shown as 4.1 on the MAF selection chart right?

My experience has been that the PFC does an OK job of changing the voltage ramp when you upgrade AFM's. The car runs OK, but not perfect. So I always retune it and generally pick up some power while doing so. Which is logical, otherwise why would you be changing the AFM?

It kinda funny how somtimes it comes on and other times it doesn't. When the light comes on I checked all the peak values for my sensors and MAF is the only one that is at it's flag point. Knock never goes about 13. Injector duty goes to 92-93% and MAF will always be above 5V. I have seen it as high as 5.1V. When this happens my AF stays in the 10.5:1 and the car still pulls pretty well. It's just the light scares me so I would like to put the Q45 on and slove that problem. I know you can just turn the waring light off but I like to have that feature just incase.
