solution to scratches

i have got a few scratches on the back of my car and a few around the wheel arc.

to just do a respray on the back panel will cost me around $300 to fix the scratch around the arch on one side, i have scratches on both side so will be like $600.

So i have decided to put a full custom decal on the car to cover parts which are scratched, this would allow me to cover the scratched and a few dings and leave the rest of my car perfect as well as a full custom decal..

i have a quote on the design i want on my car, which am looking at around $500

the only problem, isit save to just stick over it? the scratches, will it rust from under the sticker? or it won't due to lack of oxidation. should i primer it first before i do anything to it?

full respray would cost about $3000 so a bit over my budget, rather get bodykit and decal...
