HKS 2530 turbo

Hi All,

I'm about to sell a near new HKS 2530 from off a R33 GTR.

I've done heaps of searches and it appears that the HKS 2530 comes with two flange options, T3 and T25.

Which flange would have come off a GTR and which Skyline (or SR20DET) owners would be most interested in this turbo?

So SR20DET motors can put this on their standard manifold without a need for an adapter plate? Is there any other engines / vehicles that this turbo would suit. RB26DETT obviously, anything else?

Is using an adapter plate perceived as a bad thing?

Yup the T25 flange is a bolt on for the SR20DET. It would also fit the CA18DET I believe.

Adapter plates should be fine IMO, if they're made properly!

Even if they do bolt onto an SR20, the HKS 2530 are not the same as HKS 2530 for SR20. Performance levels will be no where the same. I think it may even be worse than standard.

Each of the GTR 2530's are designed to flow for 1.3litres.
