nice one. i can't believe how unfashionable we were 14 years ago.

i remember watching on tv the day skaife told the crowd to f-off or something after winning by default in the gtr. classic.

It was Jimmy Richards: "...this is unbelievable, I just cant believe the reception. I thought Australian race fans had a lot more going than this. This is a bloody disgrace. I'll keep racing but I tell you, this is going to remain with me for a long time. You're a pack of arseholes."

Skaife said something like: "...we lead the race all day, I cant believe this. Nissan, Winfield, we've won the race, and thats just how it is..."

But yeah, good times...

Schenanigans no doubt, but the rb26 is actually only 2.568 l anyway... maybe they had some advantage in the regs by losing 0.013 of a litre

It's strange looked back now that we're owners of 'French' cars (!!!) and motorsport is such a small part of Nissan worldwide and especially Nissan Australia.
