I got some 18x8.5 front with 235x40x18 and 18x9.5(deep dish) with 265x35x18 rims and tyres to go on my car soon. What offset should I get for this combo so the car looks phat noting i have 400r front, veilside sideskirts and 400r rear bar and pods.

Also since the rims will be white centre with machined polished lip what new brake pads shall i get for road and occasion track use which firstly wont spew brake dust all over the rims and wont need 30mins before they get warmed up and work properly (ebc green stuff brakes).

Lots of ppl are happy with Bendix Ultimate, i use RB74s that are a little bit dustier, but hey dont you wash your car every week?

As for wheels offsets, just start throwing on rims. i doubt anyone can tell you as ride heights, side skirts and front spoilers all make a difference

Actually just remembered the grunt your thing has...id be going for at least RB74s. Best bet would be too stick with your std road pad, and get a set of pads for the track.

You would be mad to run 18s on the track anway so only takes a minute more to swap pads when you swap the rims back to your 17s....The rubber is too expensive for 18s to be tearing up tyres at the track, and the rims are way too heavy so unless you need 18s to clear brakes id be sticking with 17s and dedicated Pagid Ferodo etc pads

No i havent washed my car for farking ages coz of the gay vic water saving laws!!!

I heard the ultimates spew alot of brake dust which is hard to get off ya rims.

I might go as geoff recommended the RB74 on the front and Class 2 on the back

I really want some 18inch TE37's or Volk Challenger's but i cant justify spending $4500 on rims and tyres :D

+38 offset all around seems to be the go.
