rev limit on r33

Hey guys, I'm new to owning a skyline, I did a quick search on forums for this question but didn't come up with any results so forgive me if its a repeat but I noticed my r33 has a rev limit of 7000 maybe 7500 it seems quite low? is this normal?

7500rpm low ??? only if you usually drive a honda i would guess.

GTS-t is ummm pass i cant remember, GTR is 8000rpm.

Hmmm, I think it's at 7500rpm but could be wrong. I don't tend to look at the tacho when I'm going that fast

But it wouldn't be much point going to 7500rpm cause on a stock motor peak power is at around 6400rpm.

OH - 7500rpm low !!!! Remember we're talking about a 2.5 lt 6 cyl motor here !!!!

What did the old red motors go to? About 4500rpm??

nar its just never had a tacho before haha

I was jsut going on the tacho redline starts at 7000 so I was like thinking hey shouldn't it go to like 8000. yeah I'm a full on newbie so expect a few dumb questions like this
