Boost problems with my rb20det.

For some reason sometimes when i boost my car it seems to hesitate allot, doesn't make any bangs or any noise, just makes a hell off a sucking noise (sounds like it's coming from the pod region..) and doesn't go anywhere...

Then some days, ill start her up and go for a drive, boost it and it boosts fine! No sucking noise, lots of boost going through happily and the cars pulling nicely. Any ideas?

My suspicions would be:

1. The stock POS rb20det turbo is rooted

2. Leaks? I've checked all my piping, seems fine. And if it was leaking wouldn't it be stuffed all the time?

3. BOV - i have blocked the aftermarket bov, but the factory one is in use now.. maybe the factory one is leaking? How do i tell....

Also in addition to the above, the turbo sorta works early in the morning when i start the car up and drive down a few streets, then once the car warms up it's screwed.
