Has anyone done any decent research on this?

Urban legend says that RB25 crank and rods can be used to create a "stroker" RB23DET. Seeing as there's only 2mm in the stroke between an RB20 and RB25, this does not sound logical.

Besides I figure that, if it was easy, wouldn't everyone be doing it??

Please enlighten me... :)

Matt

go to meggalas website there's info there

also HPI mag is currently doing an RB24 build up

also search in the technical forums ... there's heaps of info there too

but yeah apparently rb25 rods and crank gives 2.3L and rb26 rods and crank gives 2.4L

Only need to go to the next oversize pistons with RB26 rods to get 2.4

I'm not going ahead with mine anymore, so if anyones interested there's a complete second hand RB20 for sale with a set GTR rods and crank in Canberra. I've also got the stock turbo!

PM me!

But it's hard to justify the rebuild in a GTS with the price of GTR's at the moment.
