well this is for the people who dont want to fork out 1000 bux for a decent oil cooler! (see other group buy

full kit everything you need..

note that if you want to be a wanker buy a hks oil cooler for 1200, but if you want the job done buy this one!!! ( i have tested it and it does the job 80% of the the hks equivalant.... eg you are wasting your money on one that cost 5 times as much!!!!!!!)

cheap and easy to instal, everything you need is in the kit

Might sound like a stupid question..

.. but can that fit where the old standard r32 intercooler goes if u had a fmic already?. It looks longer than normal?.. Would consider buying it only if some suggestions on where to mount it.

ceffo.

there are some mounting brackets

and its a big core

the kit comes with everything in the photo.. everything

apparently people are worried about about the efficiency of the core

note that the core isnt as good as a hks core. or as efficient.. however what it lacks in efficiency it makes up in shear size... (eg it large)

i get the kit from rocket at 335 wholesale including gst. so i make 15 bux on each one.. rocket is 40km away from my joint so it cost about 15 bux(round trip) in the r31 in petrol to get there

anyone who can get the kit cheaper wholsale speak up cause if we can get it cheaper then we will

pete

OK Pete, I'll take one. email me the details for payment geoffwill@ozforces.com.au

I'm also going to fabricate a shroud to ensure clean flow over the core. You really are a legend mate.

BTW after seeing the Dutton footage I'm keen to know how much rubber you go through in a trip that long:D

Great price.

I want one but wondering where to install it as i have a pair of gtr bov's where the stock IC goes and the cooler piping off the fmic might block the vent to much on the drivers side to install it there!!!!

ANy suggestions geoff :P PS wanna help me install it if i get one :(

im installing my flat informt o fthe engine btw the radiator and the ic

however just informt of the ic condensor is the go me thinks for people with space constraints

look like thats the only place i can install it is around there, but then come down to blocking airflow to the radiator

    • Realised I never posted this , also I never got a price
    • I'm glad to hear you've joined the SKI club. Spend the Kids Inheritance.
    • I have a VALCON if anyone wants it, I have no idea why you'd want to have VVT specifically broken out of the ECU as opposed to running it off the FCON/whatever standalone you have.
    • Hi Yes we're a bit optimistic we might get something out of sealing up the two pipes of the external wastegate and reactivating the stock one. I believe the orginal stock wastegate was tack welded shut. It doesn't budge and visually looks closed and sealed. The car has noticeably more lag so it could be at least part of the problem, maybe all. It's definately one of the key changes made since last tune. And it's one that's more difficult to fully understand and measure, not like for instance timing or cylinder compression.  Thanks for that feedback, we'll let you know how this progresses. Fingers crossed.   Regards Rob
