Hey guys, a couple of days ago my battery went completely dead and even after getting a new one the car refused to start.

Basically when you turn the key it tries to strat but the engine dosen't start (sorta like there's no sparkarge). Anyways, we sorta figured out that its the PTU, which controls the ignition timing that's blown... The fuel pump works and all the fuses and coils are good.

So I need someone to either donate their PTU to test if it IS infact the PTU that's gone, or if its something else. I'll post up the exact code of the part in a sec.

The part is different to the PTU found on ceffies and zed's, and most likely a Series 2 R32 and Series 1 R33 (the early ones which had ignition timing done by a PTU instead of the ECU). So if anyone has either of these cars and is willing to let me try theirs in my car then I'd be forever grateful.
