POD/Panel Filter/CAI

Hey guys ive got an r32 GTST and i was wondering whats the best thing to use POD/Panel Filter/CAI wise? Im as pov as it gets at the moment so buying a professional CAI kit is out of the question. Anyway so what would work better, my POD that im using at the moment or the stock air box with a K&N panel filter with piping coming out of it going down to the front bar?

Also, how would either way effect the noise of the spooling and blowoff as i have the stock plumback, would it be louder or quieter?

I'm running the stock air box with K&N panel.

What I did is remove the standard unduction thing under the LH headlamp. Then got some 3" convoluted hose and simply stuffed it in the residual hole and it hangs down into the gap in the front bar where the air for the (standard) IC is.

The airbox will keep any induction noise to a minimum, and you will have a good source of cold air for the engine.

I had a pod then went back to a panel and found the panel to be better.

True, but do the Q cars want it?

The novelty of induction noise wears off after a few months. It then just becomes annoying. IMHO anyway...
