Mods...both

Performance...GT-t mainly cause engine will be newer lol

Handelling...not sure

General performance...not much in it lol stock wise

Im selling up at the end of year to buy a 34, 33's are nice but they are getting old man. and they are as common as dog shit now

34 stockies go for low 30's...

33's range from shit ones...mid 10's to nice stockies high 10's and reasonably modded low 20's depending on whats on it

From being in both type of cars. Depends how much money you want to spend. In those budgets I would only consider a "late" series 2 in the r33 gtst range at a minimum if you wanted a r33 otherwise I would say get a r34 gtt all the features, added options, cosmetic looks, performance etc all add up to the price of the R34 gtt and is worth every penny.

My 2 cents. Rob

BTW Your the one who will be sitting in the car most of the time (unless someone else uses it) try a seat in each car and which one your are more comfortable with.

I looked at both when buying my skyline and the 34 is definitely worth the extra price.

Whilst fundamentally the same, the extra refinement and newer age are a big plus. And also as previously mentioned 33s are getting very common, whilst there are a few 34s out there, nowhere near as many.

the neo motor has solid lifters and it's factory power rating is higher than the 33.

the only bad thing is 2nd hand parts is hard to come by with things such as suspension parts, body parts, interior dress up stuff etc...

but i thought it wasn't as easy to tune and doesn't take mods as well

I think I will end up saving for a R34, the do produce a nice torque band stock and are modify-able.. Just a little more pricey at the moment, but I'm sure they'll go down as time goes on, I'd love to do one like the one in your avatar torreto, or perhaps a black one..

33 -> cheap, everywhere

34 -> newer, better and more torque engine, cool styling (at least in my opinion anyway), not as common as 33s, nice dash, more boot space and also more backseat room :D The only downside is the price.

Ultimately the choice is yours, I have test driven a few 33s (modified and unmodified) and a few 34s. At the end the 34 is what I did purchased, I would go so far as to say that the 34s can be used for a family car quite nicely. :(
