like it has been said before 33 are only being called common because you notice them a lot more than other cars. if your purpose in buying a car is so it not common in your eyes buy a Maybach (speeling?) for a cool million dollars.

but my opinion is go the 34 as it a newer car and it shape really does look lovely imo with its sharper more aggressive lines compared to the 33 with its more subtle smooth sexy type lines

The thing that made me choose the 33 over the 34 was that for the price I was paying I would get a bone standard 34 that had done about 170,000km, whereas I was able to get a '98 33 that had done less km's and already had a lot of mods done.

170,000kms? On an R34 :confused:. Got mine for a little over $30k and it had only 15,000 on the clock. Great car!!

Yeah the R34 is nice, but if u didnt realise from the R32 R33 R34 they are losing the "Mean" look. The R32 looks mean as and so does the R33. But the R34 dont look like it means business. Lets not tork about the V35 which is a total piece of shit. I would say go for a Series 2 R33 or a R34.

My personal opinion in this: if you want outright moddability, the R33 is the way to go. Not only is it the most common model on Australian roads, but its pretty much the best supported Skyline in both Australia and Japan.

I personally prefer the stock R33 GTS-t looks over the stock R34 GT-T looks: something about the GT-Ts doesn't quite float my boat. Having said that, I think the R34 GT-R is the nicest design of all, and some of the GT-T kits do wonders for its appearance.

Taking into consideration its a newer car with improvements, I think the R34 GT-T is the best compromise between price, (stock) performance, moddability, and 'new-ness'. I would only have one priviso: buy a manual if you buy a GT-T so you don't have issues with aftermarket ECUs.

the 34 looks the meanest with its angry headlights. 32 comes in second. 33 comes in a very very distant third on the "mean" scale, with its headlights that curve down on the outsides. doesnt give a purposeful look at all!

similar to the s14. series one looks girly with the rounded headlights, while the series 2 is mean with the angular lights.

get a 34 if you can afford it
