WAIC - Anyone got one?

Has anyone fitted a water to air intercooler to a Skyline?

I am coming from a WRX wherre the benefits of the WAIC is noticeable due to the throttle body being behind the engine.

Now with the skyline I am wondering if it is worth bothering fitting one at all and just sticking to a FMIC.

Any comments will be appreicated, Thanks

i dont really know, but i think the water units would only be useful if you cant get access to air flow.

i think it would be best to just stick to what others have done. rather than reinventing the wheel.

I dont know if it works out better when you consider the weight, added complexity etc...i went front mount.

Though for a long time i wanted to get my hands on an STI IC, box it up with some aluminium, and throw it on top of the engine. The inlet tract from turbo to throttle body will be about 6"...lol, would imagine good throttle response.

Also with a large reservoir you should get pretty good effeciency, and can cheat a little with ice boxes etc etc...but at the end i wanted install and forget, so front mount air to air
