if u get a 200 s15, try to get a GT spec. its got nice leather seats. mm.

the s15 is much newer and would be in better condition. the r32 is a nice car, but for a daily driver, a newer car is probably a better idea. unless you find a mint r32........

plus the s15 has a semi decent stereo.

Jake- i rekon the 32 looks better than the 33, and theyre simlar cars underneath. the r33 would be in better condition, but more expencive. i rekon get a good 32 and spend ur spare on a stereo. and any repairs needed.

a newer car (r33) would be better for a daily driver, as i just said. i tend to repeat myself sometimes.

Having owned an R32 GTR, R33 GTR and S15 Jap Spec, I hope to give some though into the debate. I actually owned the cars all at the same time and all were modifed.

If not for the fact, the 33 GTR has a huge amount of power (just under 600hp), I would have gone the S15.

Much nicer car inside due to the fact its so much newer. Thoughts are biased now to an R32 because you dont see many nice S15's around. I would not get an R32 again. They are simply way too old. No matter which year R32 you get, the design is already nearly 15 yrs old. If you get a modified one, things are going to break. And the cost ALWAYS start from minimum, $1,000.

Think of the possible potentials with the S15. By the way, from all my cars, I got the most looks in the S15! Attached is a nice example that can be easily duplicated. Good luck in your choice!

Again, its up to the individual. For example, I dont think too much of my R34. I prefer the 33 GTR but yet my friends all say they would prefer the 34.

But to point out again, the 32's are old. GTR or not. And anything you do to it, youre just trying to make it look newer and freshen up the look.

Yep, R32 definately the toughest looking beast. sexy shape hasnt dated much at all, the rear end is the weakest aspect. Widebodys are an abomination :spew:

S15 is the sensible man's choice. :D

I love the Silvia S15 and GTRs. It's a tough call but I'm leaning more to the R32. The amount of money I will have left to spare after compliancing and importing to do whatever is needed should be sufficient.

I would buy an R33 but the cheapest I'd get one is about $35k. I could probably swing that much but I feel it's important to set a budget and stick to it.

With $30k, if I got the S15 I wouldn't have enough left for anything really if something happened. I'd be lucky if I could afford the immobiliser/alarm/GPS/whatever I wanna put in. This is the same dillemma I'd face even if I could get an R33. I could shop locally of course for a car that has all this but it would defeat the purpose of an import.

The money saved on a GTR can be spent to breathe so much new life to it that it could be just as good as a new car, or near enough I figure.

There's also the fact that even if I got a Silvia, I'd still be wanting a GTR. Whoever said that is right :)

I have driven both a modified S15 Rspec GT and a modified GTR off their tits.

They are both outstanding cars. But for the price your paying to buy an S15 you will find a GTR in the same condition, so age/condition is not an issue here.

It depends if you want to go for modern european looks/interior on a powerful rwd sports car or blistering quick giddiness underneath an absolute m*ther****ing weapon.
