Guys this is a weird one....

Whenever I start my car and then go for a drive, I can hear a weird bubbling noise or something that sounds like water rushing in a drain, coming from the gearbox area. I changed the gearbox oil to that Redline shockproof stuff but the noise is still there. It gets less noticeable when the car gets hot. Its most obvious when you are rolling very slowly but as soon as the car is stationary, it goes away.

I thought that it might be the aircon not draining water but I don't think its that. Someone else suggested that it could be the rubber boots around the gearstick has worn and is not insulating the sound.

Any ideas???
