I found this on a Commondore site, it's kind of automotive related.

There appears to be some doubt if this is actually an RB engine, can anyone confirm/deny?

Whilst on recent holiday to Phuket, Koh Samui, Bangkok, Thailand etc, we were prompted to go for a boat right through the river system and canals. OK, kinda boring stuff for most of the trek ... that was until I heard the faint sign of what sounded like a turbo, either VL Turbo or Skyline Turbo ... but that couldn't be possible, surely, we were on water last time I checked ...

Then it got progressively louder ... all I could see was a couple of tug boats and Bangkok Gondola's (canoe's with roof's on them) ... where was the hot GTR Skyline ??

Shock ... Disbelief ... awe ... sacrolidge ... all at once ... oh no what have they done ... the crazy Thailand Bugger's have strapped a whole RB25DET Skyline engine including Turbo, intercooler and gearbox to they're Basla Wood Gondola's ... could this really be true and happening ... or am I just too into cars and turbo's that this is a figment of my imagination.

It appears not ... following that one was a twin turbocharged RB26DETT GTR Engined Gondola ... these people are freaking mad !! What sacralidge ... God knows those engine belong in either Skylines, or even transplanted into Commodores, ... but please no ... not wasted on a Bangkok River Boat.

The more I looked, the more I was shocked, ... there were heaps of them !! Once I got over the shock of it all I decided to take some snap's for some car mad mates back home, as well as make for interesting veiwing for the SC Thread.

Needless to say these things pissed, and sounded awesome to. Now if I had to occupy my time as a River Boat Skipper, I'd be wanting one of these suckers too.

Although I wouldn't be satisfied until Veilside Tuned it for 400Hp at the Propeller !!
