Wheel sizes for RWC

I was wondering - for a roadworthy certificate - is it ok to have 16 inch rims on the back axle and 18's on the front?

I really doubt it...have a look at your tyre placement card..It’s either a Jap one or an English compliance one (a little white sticker) it has all the tyres and all the wheel sizes you can have on your car. For a RWC it depends also where you go also.

I thought to be roadworthy any aftermarket wheels could only be 1 inch wider or larger diameter than the stock wheels, therefore only 17 inches by 8.

But then again i have 17 x 9 on my R32 and it passed a RWC.

So if my R33 came out of the factory with 16" wheels stock, I should have no problems getting a roadworthy with 17" wheels on it???

After much debate on the forums a while ago, i think it was decided that you could have any diameter rim you want, as long as the overall diameter of the rim and tyre combined is no more than 1 inch different.

But width must be no more than 1 inch wider as well.
