Rims under GTS4 guards

Will 17x9 rims with 245/45 rubber fit under the guards of a R32 GTS4 (unmodified guards)

I'm running 17/7.5, +38 offset, with 235/45 rubber. The main problem I wanted to avoid was catching the tyres on the inner guard at full lock, which is what prevented me trying 8s.

You be the judge whether 9s will fit.

nah they wont fit. ive got 235s and thats the widest you can go without modifying the guards.

you see the GTS4 come thru on geoff risbeys email list, RB26DETT and single high mount HKS turbo!! for $20,000. niiice

Jimh, I got some chrome 18x8 vipers with tyres ( don't know the size, will check later ) for sale which will prolly fit under a GTST. Can come and test fit if interested.

I am currently running 8 inch wide rims on a GTS-4 and i need to

have my guards lipped to stop them from rubbing.

Without having your guards rolled you will not get 9's under the guard.

The tyres are 235/45 17's

Bump, Really people are finding that 8" run on a gtst/gts4.. ?? looks like 235 is the widest tyre, though stock specs say 245 or 265
