How much is my toy worth?

I have a widebody Z31 in mint condition with the following mods putting out 475rwks at only 20psi and BP98 on a DD dyno

Some of the mods included are

Widebody kit

2.7L N1 RB26 with nismo oversized pistons

Full GTR twin TDO6/20G kit with 68mm external wastegate

Fully race prepped R33 gearbox to handle 1000HP

OS triple plate clutch

F-con Pro silver

GTR brakes all around

Lots of suspension mods

Fuel system for a 1000hp

The big trust oilcooler and relocation kit

Big trust RSP intercooler kit

nismo 2way LSD

And a tone more but you get the idea

This car has a very safe tune. The most amazing thing about this car is you can do 10back to back runs on the dyno and the intake plenum is still cool to touch

I have had the opportunity to see this car in real life (and see it running, and see it on the dyno, it even has my old cat on it ) and it is a simply amazing machine. Not a cent has been spared on this car, I heard of it and before it actually arrived had it in my head it would be a bit of a rough conversion, but upon seeing it, its immaculate.

Definately a unique car, and its still streetable... when you want to let go of it make sure you tell me first :(

Interesting no-one has answered your original question!! This is a tough car, sounded great on the Dyno!! At a rough guess I would say the parts value is over 40K (just quickly in my head, not including the car). Very difficult to say what value anyone could place on the package - has the mumbo to runs some very low numbers on the strip.

If someone had the cash and were after a car to decimate the opposion (and appreciated / was a Zed enthausist), then I'd imagine ~38K-55k??? hard to put a price on it, you need to look at the cost of building up something similar...

What about you ljstt & Amaru?? Anyone else??

come on DANOOH its a bit like asking how long a piece of string is, with out knowing every detail its impossible to know what its worth, is the paint perfect, has the interior been upgraded at all, do you have any proof like photos of build to prove it has what you claim etc etc or was it imported like this and you are passing on the list of mods you were told its meant to have

As for my question about the gearbox, I know of a car with same turbo set up that blows 3rd gear in a trust gear box just coming on boost so without exact specs and detailed pics how can anyone know what price its worth or isn't worth

yeah point taken but i'm just looking for some feedback and some ballpark numbers.

The car was built in Japan, I even had it down tuned and a new nismo 2way LSD done before it arrived. Like I said its in mint condition I spent 1k just having this thing inspected in japan.

Anything over 7000rpm in 3rd and even 4th gear you have to go easy on the gas or it brakes traction.

    • I did not go to GTR Festival. It's quite a long drive and the car wasn't dialed in yet. I also wanted to see how the racing portion went before going. From what I can tell the classes were not heads up, index, or bracket - just whoever has the quickest ET wins. Never heard of that sort of thing before and maybe some people like it but it's not my cup of tea. I don't suspect I'll go if that is how the racing is done. I did get the car out three times and had issues each time. Some were my error - haven't raced the car in over two years - and others were parts. Had trouble getting the clutch to slip correctly and remembering how it was set up in the Haltech. Broke some drivetrain parts as well that couldn't be fixed in a couple days to get back out. Season definitely didn't end the way I wanted but at least the bearings are still fine! Not a fleck of material in the filter. Really hoping next year is the year I can actually test this car properly.
    • find it funny everyone claims different fuel chains, do different things with their fuel blah blah blah. We don't have that many fuel terminals in Australia. The fuel tanker trucks drive into the terminal, fill up, and drive directly to the service station and dump out. The majority of fuel you get, is coming out of the same terminals. The variation is actually at the individual service stations and how good their tanks are, as well as how much turn over they actually have. Older fuel stations, that haven't had their tanks replaced are going to end up with the worst fuel. Also a lot of older stations have shit design, and shit maintenance, and end up with more water absorption into the tank. This is when you then get a bad batch of fuel. Other shit things happen, like tanker drivers have a f**k up, and starting to unload the wrong compartment on their truck into the wrong tank.
    • Yeah go with that one
    • This one?? In other news: I cannot tell the difference between my red MX5 with the silver grey hard top......... and the Ferrari 599XX EVO, they might as well be twins, well.......apart from the big wang hanging off the back of the Ferrari...🤔🤣, without the wing they are identical
