rb25det or sr20det conversion for bmw 318is

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a workshop that would be able to help me with info on doing either a rb25 or sr20 conversion to my 318is BMW. I would like a place that can advise me on cost/legality and engineering of the conversion.

Please only people that have dealt with the workshops on a first hand basis and not a "friend of a friend" situation.

I am located on the Gold Coast.

Gold Coast??? If you were still in Sydney id say Quick Fit Motorsports in Hornsby. They are the nsw Autronic agent and do plenty of unusual enginecv conversions with years of experience, no probs recommending the quality of their work...i was in and out of there over about 5 weeks getting the Microtec in my old R31 sorted

Thanks for the quick reply. I would like to keep it local to save hassles but i will give them a call and have a chat to them anyway.

Any other people know of anyone on the GC?
