R32 Stock Ecu..

Hey,

I've been having a few problems with my Stock ECU. I just dont seem to understand it, it's abit of a mystery.

Anyway the current problem is, i had my HKS Type 1 installed, it works fine except it doesnt display my Speed and Revs correctly, and I have re-set it a number of times.

Prior to this I had an RSM installed when I baught the car, and It displayed my Revs incorrectly as well.

Again on top of this i've had problems with my car running VERY rich.

people have said that the car may contain a non R32 ECU, however when i posted up the serial number, someone checked and apparently it's a stock ECU

Next, people were saying 'Maybe it's Piggy Backed' yet when I pulled it apart I could not find any piggy back chips or anything'

It's starting to piss me off because I just can't figur eour what the deal is with it?

anyone know why it's playing up like this?

And also I may have to look into getting a different ECU, however im not looking to run a ECU like a POWER FC.

there for can anyone reccomend an alternative?
