hey i was just in the market of an aftermarket computer but i havent really got any idea where to start i want one that if preferably changeable as my mods change also. i am pretty much searchin in the dark at the moment with only a couple of names in my head like E-manage, haltech and motec but still really no idea so i was just wondering if the public can fill me in whats good for different prices and what they do?? also what u have to really do to install them?? can u just chuck em in and off you go or what????

This has been covered off many times here... run a search on the subject and you will probably find 100 threads that will help you out...

From what I have read here if you have a 33 than the Power FC will be your pest bet... There is alot of mixed opinions on the e-manage (it is efinately no where near the same leauge as the Power FC)...

Another option if you have a 32 could be the Link, which is very popular in NZ....

My 2 cents, and I am no expert...

it depends on whether you want it to be user friendly or not. motecs and microtecs i have found to be alright but i think motecs would be better between the two. i have heard good things about the haltechs though too, never had the experience though.
