cefiro n r31 hand brakes

hi ..i'm from malaysia.Recently i did a engine transplant of my cefiro RB20det from auto to manual.My problem is the hand brake.

Can anyone confirm if the cefiro handbrake is compatible with the R31.

FYI ...i've changed everything complete with the dashboard n gear console box.

My Cefiro came out of the factory with a normal handbrake and 5Spd manual, but im not sure if they use r31 handbrakes, ive seen ones out of a laurel or a s13.

R31 handbrake "sort of" works. Not a bolt in fit but if you're a bit handy you can work it out. Biggest problem with it is that the line needs to be extended to fit into the Ceffy...costs about $60 to do it (in Aus) but the hard part is finding a shop that can do the longer line.

S13 handbrake is your best bet.
