only thing that is different is the size, but thats determined but the size of the Wastegate and stuff.

and its basically not a louder exhaust, its running a venting pipe from the gate/manifold, which sounds similar i guess to not having an exhaust.

hey r31nis just wondering would you happen to have a small vid of how a screamer pipe sounds like?? i spoke to a friend which is a mechanic and he said there is a different type of screamer pipe.. cooler screamer pipe.. which sounds something like the vl turbos but with a higher pitch and goes on for longer.. have you heard of that b4 r31nismo??

btw thanks for the help dude!!

cooler screamer pipe?

never heard of anything like that... i dont have a vid of my car but R31 powers vid gives you an idea. although it dont sound as loud as mine.

Mine makes my ears ring its that loud :spank:

Tthe reason turbo cars with no exhaust are quieter then NA cars with no exhaust is the turbine uses some of the energy in the exhaust gases. As the wastegate bypasses the air before passing through the turbine, its actually louder then if you dropped th exhaust of your dump pipe.

Angry...When you pick up those cam journals you can take my car for a spin. Im used to it now so i dont think its all that loud, and sounds completey different as a pedestrian to a passenger.

LOL...cooler screamer pipe:confused: There are plenty of excellent mechanics that know nothing of turbo cars:( I had a guy telling me some hilarious stuff recently when a friend dropped of his 180SX for a service, he deadset didnt have a clue, had to ring the guy in the adjoining industrial unit who owned a VL, this guy knew even less:(
