a noise i heard

Hi guys

I was just curious , I was sitting next to the booze bus the other night watching the drunks get pulled over .. (fun but scary) like 1/3 cars

anyway , ther was this r31 skyline that was coming along and from about a 1km away i could hear this continuos whistle sort of like a whirrrrring sort of noise

it sounded like it was a turbine or something on a jumbo winding down , and the car wasnt even going very fast it was continuosu even when it slowed down it subsided but when it took off again , the whistling startied up

ive been racking my brain trying to think of what it is

what do you think?
