boost staying at 4psi only

i own a R33 S1 GTST ..

boost is only staying at 4psi on the standard boost gauge in the dash..

i am installing an aftermarket boost gauge in tomorow, but just wondering because i have read elsewhere in the forums that after certain rpm ranges, it goes up to 7psi...

how comes my constantly stays at 4psi...?

can anyone clear this up for me?

thanks...i am going to try the boost soleniod DIY tomorow also, will this help?

maybe right now it's not grounded right?

anyone noticed the same problem before? just thought i bring it up in case there is a problem which can be fixed or something i should watch out for..

The stock boost guage doesn't read in psi... Did you know that?

The factory gauge reads in mm Murcury (mmHg). +7mmHg is 1 bar or around 15psi. That means 400mmHg is about 7-8psi so it sounds alright to me.

finally got it working, just realise my mistake when i installed the boost gauge..
