reported from another guy that bought the same kit from Spool Up ..made 320hp at the wheels on 18psi .... which is about 235rwkw's .... i'm lookin to buy the kit as well .. just dont have enough cash

Matt

I'm interested too, for the money he's asking it seems like a good thing-especially if you have a modded engine. I think I'd make more, i have bigger cams and gears, good fuel system and cooler, but maybe the cash should buy me a programmable computer. What point (power wise) do you guys think I should change from the Nissan computer to aftermarket? BTW I lifted my carpets on passenger footwell to clean them and found 3 APEXi "fuel computers"-that's all they say in english-rest is Japanese. Weird!

On HPI V2. there is a 32 gts-t stroked to 2.4ltr's and ofcourse with a large range of mods including a t04e and it runs a 10.02 qtr time on street tyres.

From this example you can see that this turbo has alot of potential, I wonder what it would be like on an engine that is near stock?

I was considering this option for my rb20 too, although im not sure how safe it is buying a second hand turbo kit.

I was even considering the HKS GT-RS turbo, although I have no idea at the moment.

All I know is I want something relatively responsive and something that will give you a rush like the one experienced the first time ever driving a skyline.

take it easy

Mark

A t04e is pretty big so it wouldnt be very responsive

My mate has a TO4r on his 2L, its in a lighter car also, so prob more lag from that, its full boost by about 4000-4500rpm, starts making boost atm by about 2500rpm. So really it shouldnt be too bad, just the set up of everything has to be good.
